Los Angeles is a great place to spend your summer vacation with family or with friends. From a day or two at the beach to limitless stroll in the suburbs and districts to the tour around the various museums, the city is filled with the best destinations and theme parks worth visiting. When you think of Los Angeles, you will never run out of things to do whether indoor activities or outdoor adventures.   • Los Angeles County Museum of Art

One of the largest and most popular museums in the county is more interesting to visit when you got your family or friends with you. If you love arts, this one should never be missed if you are exploring Los Angeles this summer. A vast collection of mind-bending art pieces are here, including ancient figures and works of arts from all parts of the world.

  • Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens

Holding more than nine million archives and documents spanning from the first days of the country all the way to the 21st Century and the present, the Huntington Library is the famous place when it comes to researches and library items. They have the Library Exhibition Hall where visitors are offered with daily surprises. Everyone is also privilege to see the 120 acres of botanical gardens comprising of large collections of flowers, bonsai plants, orchids, and green plants. To complete the tour, there are collections of artworks, too, in the site which include sculptures, paintings, decorative arts, and more. Most of these artworks are created by Rogier van der Weyden, Gainsborough, and some of the famous American artists.

  • Warner Bros. Studio Tour

If you and your group want a tour about the craft in making films and shows for television, a tour at the Warner Bros. Studio is a perfect activity to do while in Los Angeles. The tour may last for two to three hours, and it includes a visit to the Sound stage where they shoot the Big Bang Theory, the Archive and Prop House that are filled with countless props and costumes, and the Stage 48, the newest attraction.

  • Venice of America

A miniature version of the Venice Canal, this attraction was developed by Abbot Kinney. The charming footbridges, peaceful waterside, and water where you can spot the ducklings in their line are definitely relaxing in summer. If you are visiting Los Angeles in summer, do not forget to drop by at the Venice of America.

  • Hollywood Walk of Fame

If you are a fan of the prominent directors, producers, and artists from musical, films, and theatrical groups, don’t ever miss the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. There are more than 2,600 stars to see at the site, which was established in 1958. Each year, 24 new stars are being added to the stars. According to sources, the stars used here are made from brass and terrazzo.

  • Universal Studios Hollywood

The Universal Studios Hollywood started offering tours to the public in 1964, and since then, people come to see the sets and the props used in Hollywood films. As years pass by, this attraction was developed fully as a theme park and is now open to the public for tours. Among the attractions to visit are the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Flight of the Hippogriff rollercoaster, the Forbidden Journey, the Jurassic World, and more.

  • Los Angeles Conservancy Walking Tour

Visiting Los Angeles will never be complete if you will miss to see the downtown Los Angeles and hear of its interesting background and history. There are guided tours all the way through the fascinating locations of the city, including the famous hotels and Commercial District.   • Petersen Automotive Museum

Los Angeles is filled with breathtaking museums and one of those is the Petersen Automotive Museum. You will enjoy seeing the spectacular collection of automotive displayed in the museum. There are 25 galleries filled with awe-inspiring vehicles ranging from the vintage ones to the modern cars. They have the 1915 Detroit Electric Model 61 Brougham, the 1958 Plymouth Fury “Christine” model, and the solar-powered 1987 Mana La. For additional cost, visit the Vault to find 250 and more vehicles built within the last century, including the vehicles previously owned by Elvis Presley and Steve McQueen.

  • Arts District

The famous district was colonized in 1970s by artists and is now created as a creative hub for the youth. Mostly walkable street, the best street arts are found here spanning from the wall murals of up to 100 or more. You will surely stop by and take a close glimpse of the artworks and graffiti on the buildings. Although the city of Los Angeles prohibits graffiti, the district is allowed to show off the masterpieces in public walls.

  • Santa Monica State Beach

The gorgeous sandy beach of Santa Monica is famous to local residents and visitors, as well as to the TV and movie film producers. It may seem impossible to have clean and clear water in the city but Santa Monica Beach is different.
