How can I save while traveling on a low budget? This is a question that is often asked to me here and when I meet travelers in person. The answer is not always easy to find because it is a combination of factors, but the chosen destination plays a significant role in reducing the budget spent on your next vacation.
Here are the cheap places to travel internationally in 2019
Nicaragua
No wonder Nicaragua is becoming more and more popular with backpackers. It is a destination recommended for less experienced travelers, both for its friendliness and its prices. Transport is easy and efficient (yes, yes, active), and the cost of living is meager. Easy to find a well-maintained hostel at a reasonable price and a hearty meal for a few dollars. Also, if you wanted, you could wander from town to town and have a great trip. Through Granada, the rainbow city, and the expat city of San Juan del Sur, a melon juice in hand and a swim in the Pacific, hard to find a long time in this country at slow pace and quiet. If I were a giant, I would settle a hammock between the two volcanoes of Ometepe Island and I would spend at least one season!
Budapest, Hungary
Budapest is the capital of Hungary, a member country of the European Union located in Eastern Europe. In addition to being beautiful, especially at night, the cost of living is rather low. It is easy to feed for a few forints, as with the famous goulash, and enjoy a good beer cheap bar Szimpla; an old building refurbished and decorated with objects from flea markets. You can stay in a hostel from CA $ 8 to $ 10 per night! Some museums cost only $ 5-6 for entry. It is effortless to get there with low budget airlines from Europe or even to include it on a trip to Europe for our Quebec friends. Also, Budapest is home to one of the biggest festivals in Europe, the Sziget Festival.

Nepal
Some destinations in the world leave an indelible mark on the heart. Nepal is one of them. It is one of the most inexpensive countries we have visited and among those most suited to backpacking. With a budget of 50 € per day for two people including accommodation, meals, transportation, and activities without too much deprivation, we had our eyes full and heart.
Vietnam
Vietnam is the ideal destination to travel without breaking the bank. It is full of natural treasures and wonders of nature that will provide a total change of scenery. Jungle, rice parks as far as the eye can see, paradisiac beaches, not to mention its tasty cuisine, Vietnam is a country to discover at least once in its life.
Bolivia
I have been to Bolivia twice. My first time was in June 2014, a ten-day stay, and my second time, in May 2016 for two weeks. Bolivia is among the cheapest countries in South America. It is a few euros less for accommodation compared to Peru, on average 6-8 euros for a bed in a dormitory, or less than 15 euros for a basic room for two people. If you like street food, you can have it for two euros. Add a few euros for a daily menu or classic meal (rice, fries, pasta with chicken).
