Serhii Tokarev, one of the founders of Roosh and AI HOUSE, the largest artificial intelligence community in Ukraine, announced the launch of the second season of the educational project AI for Ukraine. This project is designed to support the development of knowledge and skills in the field of artificial intelligence among Ukrainians.
As part of the project, it is planned to conduct a series of free online lectures and workshops, led by recognized experts from the world’s leading technology companies, including OpenAI, Google, INRIA, Stripe, and the University of Oxford. Participants are expected to deepen their knowledge and gain access to cutting-edge ideas in the field of artificial intelligence, which contributes to the overall development of the IT sector in the country.
In addition, AI for Ukraine also aims to raise funds in support of the Ukrainian army, demonstrating the social responsibility of the project. Serhii Tokarev emphasized the importance and relevance of such initiatives, especially considering the difficult situation in the country.
According to Serhii Tokarev, this idea was created not only to develop Ukraine’s IT community but also to support the desire of Ukrainian specialists for education and development and to create favorable conditions for this.
Serhii Tokarev and AI for Ukraine announce the availability of presentations and seminars not only for AI and ML professionals but also for technical enthusiasts and anyone interested in these areas.
While all materials will be provided free of charge, organizers encourage participants to make voluntary donations to support the Reactive Post charity, which has been actively supporting Ukrainian artillerymen since 2014.
Last year’s success of the project was marked by collecting funds in the amount of 320,000 hryvnia, donated to the Come Back Alive charity foundation. To participate in AI for Ukraine, you must register by filling out the form on the official website of the project. Once registered, participants will have access to a full range of lectures and workshops, as well as the latest announcements and updates sent via email.
According to Serhii Tokarev, times are rapidly changing, and modern technologies continue to transform our world. AI for Ukraine online lectures and workshops provide a unique opportunity to study advanced AI technologies. The first lecture, which was scheduled for November 2 explained one of the key topics – Deep Learning Decade and GPT-4. Lukasz Kaiser, an expert from OpenAI, has provided an extensive overview of the creation of GPT-4 and the features of ChatGPT, as well as shared his thoughts on the future of artificial intelligence. With this event, participants will be able to feel the pulse of innovation and be inspired by the progress in technology.
As before, all presentations will be presented in English and will be available for viewing after the broadcast. This provides ample opportunities for learning and relearning the material and also provides convenience for participants whose first language is not English.
Serhii Tokarev notes that content generation using artificial intelligence tools remains one of the key topics in the modern information space. The workshop, scheduled for November 29 and led by Victoria Oleynik from the University of Oxford, promises to introduce new perspectives on AI-powered content creation. Participants will learn how to work with text generated by artificial intelligence, and will also learn how to avoid interacting with unsafe or inaccurate content.
