Below are some of the available treatments for endometriosis:

1. Pain-relieving medication. Your healthcare provider may prescribe you over-the-counter painkillers like ibuprofen, naproxen, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications to help manage the painful abdominal pain.

2. Hormonal contraceptives. Your doctor may prescribe you vaginal rings, birth control medications, and patches to help regulate the hormones causing the accumulation of endometrial tissue in your uterus. They also have managed painful menstrual cramps.

3. Aromatase inhibitors. This is a type of medication that works by lowering the production of estrogen in your body to help manage endometriosis symptoms.

4. Fertility treatment. Endometriosis can lead to fertility problems. Your doctor may recommend various fertility treatments, such as stimulating ovulation in your body.

5. Conservative surgery. Conservative surgical methods are usually performed for severe cases of endometriosis or if you are pregnant. These surgical procedures are generally safe and effectively manage your endometriosis symptoms.
